Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
Our standard
Everyone participating in the Trishula project — issues, pull requests, discussions, and the docs site — is expected to be professional and respectful. Debate the change, not the person.
Expected behaviour
- Use welcoming and inclusive language.
- Be respectful of differing viewpoints and experience.
- Gracefully accept constructive criticism.
- Focus on what is best for the community and the project.
- Assume good faith in others’ comments and contributions; security critique is welcome, contempt is not.
Unacceptable behaviour
- Harassment, discriminatory or demeaning language, or personal attacks.
- Publishing others’ private information without explicit consent.
- Deliberate introduction of malicious code or known-vulnerable dependency changes disguised as contribution.
- Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments, sustained disruption of discussions.
Scope
Applies in all project spaces (repository, issues, PRs, the docs site) and when representing the project publicly.
Enforcement
Instances of unacceptable behaviour are reported to the project contact, Shain Singh. All reports are reviewed and may result in a response deemed necessary and appropriate: warning, temporary ban, or permanent ban from project spaces. Reports are treated confidentially.
Security vulnerabilities are not conduct matters — follow SECURITY.md instead.
